Messaging & Workflows

The Big Easy Website Creation platform includes a robust email messaging system that sends automated emails for orders placed through your website and funnels.

Email Configuration

Two things must be configured for emails to be sent from your website or funnel.

1. Your website domain needs to be verified.
2. Your brand details need to be entered to comply with CAN-SPAM requirements.

Your system cannot send emails using your domain name until you configure these.

To verify your domain name:

1. Select Messaging & Workflows from the top menu
2. Select Settings from the side navigation menu
3. On the Domains tab, select the Add Domain button
4. Enter your domain (e.g., YOURAWESOMEWEBSITE.COM) in the Verify New Domain pop-up window
5. Copy the DNS record information from the Verification records screen to create the required TXT and CNAME records with your domain registrar.

NOTE: After closing the pop-up, your domain name will appear in "Pending" status. The system will check periodically to ensure the DNS records have been added. Once the records are confirmed, the domain name will be listed as "Verified."

1. Select Messaging & Workflows from the top menu
2. Select Settings from the side navigation menu
3. Select the Brand Details tab
4. Enter the following information:
• Company Name
• Company Address
• Default Sender Name
  (This name will appear on emails sent by the system.)
• Default Email
  (This email address will be used when the system sends emails.)
• Default Reply-to Email
  (If you want email replies to go to a different email address, enter it
  here. Otherwise, email replies will go to the default email address.)
• Default System Email
  (This email address will be used for system emails, such as e-commerce emails.)
5. Select the Save button
