Big Easy Website Creation allows you to set up custom shipping rules based on product price or weight. You can apply rules globally or tailor them to specific countries. This guide walks you through creating, customizing, and editing your shipping rules to ensure accurate shipping costs at checkout.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Access Shipping Settings
- Go to Store > Shipping or click Add Shipment from your product settings.
- This opens the Shipping Rules section in your Settings panel.
2. Add a New Shipping Rule
- Click + Add Shipping Option.
3. Define the Shipping Rule
- Shipping Name – Enter a label for the rule (e.g., “Standard U.S. Shipping”).
- Based On – Choose between:
- Price Range (e.g., $0–$50 = $5 shipping)
- Weight Range (e.g., 0–10 lbs = $10 shipping)
4. Set Price or Weight Ranges
- Specify:
- Minimum and Maximum Price/Weight
- Shipping Cost for that range
Note: You can change the unit of measurement (e.g., pounds vs. kilograms) in your general settings under Settings > General > Metrics.
5. Apply the Rule by Location
- Choose where this rule applies:
- Global – applies to all countries
- Uncheck Global to select one or more specific countries
6. Manage Existing Rules
- To edit a shipping rule, click the pencil icon next to the rule in your list.
- Adjust any range, cost, or country-specific setting.
- Click Save when done.
