Overview

Funnels are focused, conversion-optimized sequences of pages designed to help you reach specific goals—whether that’s collecting leads, scheduling appointments, or selling products. In Big Easy Website Creation, building your first funnel is fast, visual, and intuitive. This guide walks you through setting up your first funnel, customizing each step, tracking performance, and optimizing results.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Understand What a Funnel Is

A funnel is a set of connected pages with a specific purpose:

  • Lead generation (e.g., opt-in + thank you)
  • Sales funnel (e.g., product page + checkout + confirmation)
  • Appointment booking (e.g., landing page + form submission)

Each step moves visitors closer to conversion while minimizing distractions.

2. Create a New Funnel

  • Click the Funnels tab in your dashboard.
  • Click + Create Funnel.
  • Choose a template:
    • Lead generation
    • Sales
    • Appointment
  • Preview available templates to find one with 2–3 steps (e.g., Landing Page + Thank You Page).
  • Name your funnel and click Add Funnel.

📌 Funnels created outside a website are standalone by default, but you can integrate them into any existing website project later.

3. (Optional) Move Funnel into a Website

  • Click the three dots next to your funnel name.
  • Select Move to Website.
  • Choose the website project to house the funnel.

đźš« Headers are usually hidden in funnels to avoid navigation distractions and keep users focused on the call to action.

4. Customize Funnel Pages

  • Edit each step using the drag-and-drop builder.
  • Update:
    • Text and headlines
    • Product details or form elements
    • Call-to-action buttons
  • Add new steps (e.g., upsells, additional lead forms, appointment pages) as needed.
5. Add A/B Testing to Optimize Conversions

  • On any funnel step (e.g., landing page), click A/B Test.
  • Duplicate the page to create a variant.
  • Change key elements like:
    • Headlines
    • Imagery
    • Button text or colors
    • Video or testimonial placement
  • Run real-time split tests and track which version performs better.
6. Track Analytics

  • Monitor how many people visit each step.
  • View conversion rates between steps (e.g., from Landing Page to Thank You Page).
  • In sales funnels, track:
    • Sales volume
    • Order value
    • Performance of upsells or bump offers
