Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Understand What a Membership Website Is

  • A membership website provides secure access to exclusive content, such as courses or digital products.
  • Access can be based on one-time payments or recurring subscriptions.
  • You can create multiple membership levels and custom dashboards for different user groups.
2. Choose a Template or Start from Scratch

  • Go to Pages > Add New, then choose from Membership & Courses templates.
  • Select designs for:
    • Dashboards
    • Individual course pages
    • Checkout pages
  • Customize or create your own with the drag-and-drop builder.
3. Organize Course Content and Pages

  • Build your course pages using available widgets: videos, call-to-action buttons, text, images, etc.
  • Use Global Columns for consistent navigation across all course pages.
  • To duplicate a course page:
    • Click the three dots next to the page > Duplicate
    • Rename and update content (videos, titles, etc.)
4. Group Your Course Pages

  • Create Folders to organize content:
    • For example: “Course Group: Digital Marketing”
    • Move related pages into the corresponding folder using page Settings > Move to Folder
5. Create and Assign Membership Groups

  • Navigate to Engage > Groups
    • Click Add Group to create (e.g., “VIP Members”)
    • Assign a Redirect Page (dashboard or individual course) for each group
  • These groups will control access to protected pages.
6. Restrict Page Access by Membership Group

  • Go to the Page Settings of a secured page.
  • Under Page Access, select Members Only and assign which group(s) can view the page.
7. Set Up Your Membership Product

  • Go to Store > Products > Add Product
    • Choose Membership
    • Add a product title, description, and price
    • Assign it to a membership group
    • Choose Subscription if needed (monthly, annual, custom)
    • Add a category and product image
8. Create a Custom Checkout Page

  • Use a custom checkout page to:
    • Match branding
    • Highlight features and testimonials
    • Add bump offers (optional add-ons)

9. Link Your Sales Page to Checkout

  • Use a button on your sales page to link directly to:
    • Add to Cart, or
    • Buy Now for instant checkout
  • Go to Button Settings > Link > Store > Choose Product
10. Set Up a Thank You Page and Redirects

  • After purchase, send users to a Thank You page.
  • Add a button that links to the membership dashboard or course page.
  • Assign this Thank You page in your Checkout Settings.
11. Add Upsells & Bump Offers

  • Bump Offers: Small add-ons shown on the checkout page

    • Add upsell pages in Funnels
    • Use the special upsell widget to allow one-click purchases
